Baseball Shutout by Fordham on Tuesday

BRONX, NY – The Saint Peter's baseball team returned to Houlihan Park in Bronx, NY for the fourth straight contest on Tuesday, this time facing Fordham on its home field. The Peacocks dropped the contest 18-0.


Angel Perez's (Jersey City, NJ / Marist HS) two out double in the top of the sixth gave the Peacocks their lone extra base hit of the day.


Fordham's Joseph Quintal (1-0) earned his first win of the season after pitching four hitless innings. The Peacocks Joe Albunia (Jersey City, NJ / Hudson Catholic) (0-2) went three innings striking out one batter he faced.


The Peacocks are back in action on Wednesday, March 28 when the team travels to Bethlehem, PA for a mid-week meeting against Lehigh.
