The two teams split last year's season series with each team winning on its home court.
The men's team will make its second appearance on ESPN3 when the Peacocks head north up the Hudson to face Marist on Thursday Jan. 26 at 7:30 p.m. The Peacocks swept the Red Foxes last season.
The third men's basketball feature on an ESPN network will be a MAAC netflex game on Friday, Feb. 3 at hOURglass rival Monmouth with a 7:00 p.m., tip time. The netflex format allows ESPN to pick any game on schedule for the selected date to air on the designated platform (ESPN2, ESPNU, or ESPN3). ESPN will announce which game has been selected for the netflex telecast 21 days out. In 2015-16, the Peacocks fell to the regular season MAAC champions, Monmouth in both meetings including an overtime heartbreaker at the Yanitelli center. This will be the fourth consecutive season Saint Peter's and Monmouth meet on ESPN3 with the Peacocks going 1-2 in the previous three meetings.
The men's team will make its final regular season appearance on ESPN3, Thursday, Feb. 9 in Hamden, Connecticut when the team takes on Quinnipiac at 8:00 p.m. The teams split the regular season series last year with both squads protecting its home court. The loss at Quinnipiac was an ESPN3 production that resulted in a, 56-55, one-point setback for the Peacocks.
