MALVERN, PA - David Powers led the Peacocks on day one of the Wildcat Invitational with a 68 (-3) score and currently sits atop the individual leaderboard. Powers hit four birdies on the front nine, and added one birdie with seven strokes on par on the back nine to close out day one.
As a team, the Peacocks are tied for second place with an overall score of 290 (+6).
"I was really happy with how everyone played, especially David Powers," said head coach Nick Dillio. "If we can make a few more putts tomorrow, we will have a good shot to win."
The Peacocks will look to catch tournament leader Drexel when play continues in the Wildcat Invitational on Tuesday, April 10. Tee-off is scheduled to start at 9 a.m.
