JERSEY CITY, NJ - Saint Peter's University tennis teams welcomed the Greyhounds from Loyola University in Maryland to Jersey City on Saturday afternoon. The men's team loss by a score of 7-0, while the women's team was defeated by a score of 6-1. The men's record drops to 1-6 and the women's record falls to 1-8.

I'm glad they are out of our conference. Another good performance was by Douglas Nover who put together two good back-to-back performances."
Results: Christian Resurreccion posted the lone win in the Bubble at No. 6 singles due to a walkover. Nicole Eberle got injured in the doubles portion of the match. Andres-Sebastian Rojas played a good first set, losing 4 and 1. Ivan Knezevic, No. 3 Singles, sat out due to injury so half the team had to play up one spot in the singles lineup. Douglas Nover played a tough, two-setter at No. 3 singles losing 6-4,6-4.
The men's team is back on the court for a 7pm start time on Friday against hOURglass rival Monmouth University at the New Shrewbury Racquet Club. The women's team returns to the Yanitelli Center to welcome Akron University from Ohio. It will be the first time the women's team will be playing a team from the Mid-American Conference.
