Men's Tennis Match Against Fairleigh Dickinson Moved to the RLC on Thursday

JERSEY CITY, NJ - The Saint Peter's University men's tennis team faces the Knights of Fairleigh Dickinson University on Thursday, April 6, at 3:30pm. The match has been moved to the Yanitelli Recreational Life Center Bubble due to the anticipation of rain.

 

Last Time Out - The Peacocks fell to Fairfield at home, 7-0, on March 25. This will be the first match is more than 10 days as the MAAC match against Rider was postponed this past Saturday. Make-up date for that match is to be determined.

 

Scouting - The Knights own a 4-9 record with a 1-1 record in the Northeast Conference. They own a 6-1 win against MAAC team, Quinnipiac University. Fairleigh Dickinson University was picked third in the NEC Preseason Tennis Poll.

 

History - Fairleigh Dickinson University defeated Saint Peter's University, 7-0, last year on March 19, 2016 in the Bubble. Last time the Peacocks were able to win a single point against Fairleigh Dickinson was on February 25, 2015 when Alumni Daniil Ivanov won in a third set match tiebreak.

 

Up Next - The Saint Peter's University men's tennis team returns to action early Saturday morning, April 8. First serve is set for 9am in the Yanitelli Recreational Life Center Bubble against the Blue Hens of the University of Delaware.
